about
Zindagi, was Uddipan’s first ever solo song written back in 2012. After eight years, him and Sanjay Kumar, his producer back then who is now part of the progressive outfit from Bangalore called Foi, took interest in recreating the song to a new version. This song is nostalgia to Uddipan’s journey so far throwing light to recall his roots while starting out as an independent musician. It talks about the tough journey we all go through as individuals while never giving up on what we believe by being strong and happy even with tears and hardships.
lyrics
Iss aas, mein yun chalta rahun
Dil mein junoon liye badhta jau par
Kismat se, main ladhta rahu
Bole jo dil, sun na saku
Dard ka aashiq bana
Har raasta manzil bana
Abb aur na koi jahaan
Paya na jo chaaha sadaa
Jal raha har saas mein
Na mit rahe hai faasle
Dil ka shama yun bujh raha
Mera yakeein mujhse mita
Bheege bheege palkon pe
Chote bade khwaab diya zindagi
Unn saare yadon ko phir
Gham ki aur le chalein zindagi
Iss soch, mein na dooba rahun
Har lamha main bas jeeta rahun yun
Dard ka aashiq bana
Har raasta manzil bana
Abb aur na koi jahaan
Paya na jo chaaha sadaa
Chal, unn raahon par
Jaha hum milte the
Udd jau main
Peeche chodhe yeh zindagi
Bheege bheege palkon pe
Chote bade khwaab diya zindagi
Unn saare yadon ko phir
Gham ki aur le chalein zindagi
